The wonderful Malak Ghanayem and her husband Mahmoud asked me to design a ring in honor of their first daughter's birth.
After choosing the ring, the task was to choose a meaningful sentence that recall this warm memory. “The Birth is after two weeks, and the girl’s name will be Carml, we want a sentence that carries her name.
The creative pair after thinking decided that the sentence would be:
” كفراشة ربيع متلهفة لتسمو “
Every word starts with a letter from her name “Carml”.
A piece that carries their eagerness to meet their first daughter and their desire for her to come to this world with confidence, safety and standing tall like our great mountain (Carml), and that she can fly freely and innocently like a butterfly.
A great message for a daughter in her day, she carries with her for a lifetime.
A ring that narrates an immortal love story, unparalleled, a non-forgotten memory for this beautiful family through an art piece made of the most precious materials on this earth

Inside me, a butterfly grew, with its wonderful colors, its charming delicacy, its lightness, and its infinitely beautiful effect. Something deeper and stronger than an umbilical cord tied me to this choice. Butterfly chose me to be her mother and I chose her to be my butterfly.
We chose to document the birth anniversary of our daughter, Carmel, with a unique piece. It is distinguished in its meanings and words and is unique in its design. This piece will accompany us on our journey together.
